The book is very informative and motivating. You would need to purchase the workbooks for the book to be beneficial. I did not find where you could purchase the workbooks without joining the program which is costly. I would have had to join in on line since there were no programs in my area. The book is very good.

I would recommend this book to anyone who needs to lose weight. I am at the start of my fourth week using this method and feel fantastic!! I have a long way to go but feel this is going to be a way of life for me. I was unsure of what all the plan entailed but it has bee fairly easy to follow. Healthy wholesome choices and the workbook will help me to find my true self. All these years I have hid behind my layers of fat and now I know with the right food choices I can feel healthy again.

This book gave me an overview of the Prism Weight Loss program. It presents a sensible weight loss program teaching you to eat in a healthly way and make permanent lifestyle changes which helps you to lose weight a little slower than fad diets but the end result is that you keep the weight off and you actually lose inches even faster than weight. For me, it has been a lifesaving tool.

I am entering my 13th week on Prism Weight Loss Program. This book really is inspiring while on the program and is actually part of the reason I signed up in the first place! The stories of other people losing weight are inspirational and it helps that the author, Karen Kingsbury, has also been on the program. You learn what the program is about and the book serves as a good resource for inspiration when dieting becomes a bit much and you want to reflect on why you started this in the first place knowing that diets are normally boring. This program is a good one and the book is good, I just would have liked to have seen more pictures and hope that Karen adds some additional stories when she writes a sequel as this book needs to be bigger! Thank you Karen and I do recommend this book highly.
