Dr Hirsch started out with some good research and application and then the usual pharma/big money makers got hold of him and along came Sensa which is the big bucks item. Sensa WILL work if you totally believe it will work but so will a lot of other pills and gimmicks. No matter what you take, it’s all about calories in and out. It’s not the product that is doing what is claimed, it’s the idea behind it that Dr Hirsch discovered in his research. Don’t waste your money or time on this book – instead get Dr. Hirsch’s first book “Scent-sational Weight Loss” – It’s much more informative and tells you how to apply the scent information without spending all that money on the tastents that he now sells. I have this book in near new condition to throw away!!!

Like the reviewer below me I am also a Sensa user. I had success with the product in the past (lost 14 lbs in 2. 5 months before losing my job and having to pause Sensa due to financial constraints) and had just started the program again when I found out that Dr. Hirsch has written a book. I bought it the day it came out and I literally devoured this book immediately upon purchase. I knew it would kickstart my commitment to my weight loss program again. This is similar to how I watched Fast Food Nation knowing it would kickstart my commitment to vegetarianism. Having a thorough understanding of the theory behind Dr. Hirsch’s product I am really ready to commit now to my weight loss. I already know first hand that it works, and now I understand why. I think this book is the perfect read for someone looking to move past diets and into a full understanding of how to teach their brain how to be satisfied on an appropriate amount of food. That learning will absolutely lead to weight loss, it’s just up to the individual to act on it.

I have been a Sensa user since Feb 2009 and so far I have lost 60 lbs and plan to keep using it till I lose another 40 lbs.
The book, the product. . . all of it make sense! And it works for me. I am a busy working wife and mother of 2 young children. I can fit Sensa into my life and it is safe and portable! So thanks to Sensa for everything!!!!

I picked up this book after watching a show on TV about how certain smells could make you less hungry. Well as it turns out the doc that wrote this book discovered this by accident and developed a product that does just that. I love that this is a no brainer. You can either use the product on the food you already eat or use the recipes in the book that make you feel full longer. I am not much of a cook so I bought the sprinkles (amazon has the kit) and I’m just starting. The exercises are pretty good and remind you to do the little things that add up to calories burned. I’ve read a lot of books lately on weight loss (jillian michaels is a good one) but this is really the easiest way to go.

I have been trying diet programs for years now and nothing was working! You name it, I tried it. Then my friend told me about this sprinkle diet called Sensa. I laughed. Four months later she’s laughing at me for not taking her advice earlier! I have been on Sensa for a little over two months and can’t believe I have lost weight. When I heard about DR. Hirsch writing a book to help those on Sensa I was so excited because I knew it could only enhance my weight loss. It was such an easy quick informative read. Educates you on the history behind Sensa, Satiety foods (who knew you should eat an orange instead of apple for higher satiety) and quick tips and tricks in your everyday life; I mean I know taking the steps is better than the elevator but sometimes you just need someone to reinforce those thoughts into your head. My friend is reading the book now too!
