I started Prebiotin about 1. 5 years ago. I find it to be
helpful in dealing with my GI issues. I will be eager to
see what my Dexa Score is this next fall, as this supplement is
supposed to help with absorption of calcium. I would definitely
recommend this product for someone who is dealing with IBS problems.

i have used plain and orange prebiotin and really loved but this taste so sweet it is hard to find things to mix with – i will go back to plain

This may be a good product for some, but I can confidently say it isn’t for everyone. Not only didn’t it work for me as claimed but it seemed to make things worse and I stopped using it after a couple of weeks. Interestingly, the label on the container does say that this product may produce bloating and gas. Too bad the maker of this product doesn’t have a smaller, trial size so you don’t have to spend 30 bucks to find out it’s of no use to you.

CVS stands for Chronic Vomiting Syndrome and there is actually a support group on line for this. This product was recommended as a possible preventative for CVS. At that point I had nothing to lose. This is the second time I made this purchase and I haven’t had a single “episode” since taking it. I tried stopping it for a few days to see and got queazy. Needless to day, that determined my second order. I put it in my juice in the morning and there is absolutely no taste or side effects.

  5. Having used this for about ten days, escalating slowly to a teaspoon dose per day, I can say that it really works. No longer do I have gas, or irregular bowel movements, or nightly tummy gurgling and indigestion. It mixes easily in a glass of juice and is absolutely tasteless. I’m a total believer, and I don’t usually jump on any of the nutritional bandwagons.
