This is a very good walking workout, with not too much marching in place. I like the slow squats and lunges, as well as the good variety in the steps. George Foreman is a real cutie-pie, and Petra gives excellent cues and countdowns. I followed the steps perfectly the first time I did the workout. The people in the video are normal-sized folks and cover a wide range of ages. I also appreciate the cool-down that actually DOES get you moving more slowly. So many of the videos I have don’t really have a decent cool down.
I won’t use this video very often, however, because the music is TOO LOUD and annoying. I especially dislike background music that has lyrics, and this music not only has singers but the volume is so loud that at times it is hard to hear George and Petra over it! The production overall seems cheap, and the setting is depressing. Still, it’s a good workout and I can deal with these drawbacks once or twice a week.

I’ve heard great things about this video, so I got it wanting to like it. I was quite disappointed. Fitness instructor Petra Kolber teaches and leads alongside George Foreman, who makes the odd comment while they and a class of participants do the workout. The music is loud (too jarring for me) and Petra isn’t my favourite instructor, she’s very rah rah and hyper. Maybe because I found all that annoying, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the workout, but I was also bored. I’ve done other simple marching/walking type workouts with basic easy to follow moves which I much preferred, for example “Kathie Lee’s Feel Fit & Fabulous” – you don’t have to be a Kathie Lee fan for that one (I’m not) but the instructor C. B. Yelverton is wonderful and I love the routine. Sorry George, I love your grill but this workout is going to be donated to Goodwill.

I have exercised to this DVD twice. Today is the second time and I love it. This workout is fun and works the thighs and legs. Squats are good for the thighs and legs. It helps them get in shape.
If you have 30 minutes to workout and love doing indoor walking, then try this workout. You might just like this version to indoor walking.

I bought this exercise DVD for my aged mother. The exercise is easy for aged people. I would recommend this for people who want an easy exercise routing. You can easily do it in a 6 by 6 space.

This tape is excellent! I enjoyed the music, all the moves I could master and everyone, especially George is so postivie. People who are working toward a healthy lifestyle need positive reinforcement during exercise. It is so easy to become tired and discouraged. But George makes it fun and one would never know that Petra is a two-time cancer survivor. With this tape, you definitely get your moneys worth.
